WATER COMMITTEE & WATER WORKING  GROUP

The SGVCOG Water Committee studies problems, programs, and other matters which pertain to the issues of water resources, water quality, and wastewater management. The committee also provides policy direction in these areas to the Governing Board. The Water Policy Committee is supported by a Water Working Group that provides technical expertise on issues of importance for the Water Committee. The Working Group is made up of City and County staff, and representatives from the COG's partner agencies.

A quorum of both Water Committee is 40% of their memberships. A quorum of the membership must be present to take action on any items. All meetings of the Water Committee are held in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code Section 54950 et seq.).

​

Regular meetings of the Water Committee and the Water Working Group are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 PM at the SGVCOG Monrovia Office, 3rd Floor (1333 S. Mayflower Ave, Suite 360, Monrovia, CA 91016).
