SAN GABRIEL VALLEY TRANSIT FEASIBILITY STUDY
The San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) – in partnership with Los Angeles Metro (Metro) – is conducting a feasibility study to evaluate and improve mobility in the San Gabriel Valley. The study will evaluate short- and long-term transit options designed to enhance communities and the lives of residents, commuters and visitors, with a focus on our most vulnerable populations: transit-dependent populations and equity-focus communities constrained by existing transportation systems.

57/60 Confluence Project
Caltrans has identified the 57/60 Confluence as one of the five most congested segments within Caltrans District 7, which encompasses Los Angeles County and Ventura County.
The proposed 57/60 Confluence improvements will:

Eliminate the conflicting weaves in the eastbound direction of SR-60
-
Improve safety by separating the interchange traffic from the mainline freeway weaves

Provide operational flexibility to the two merged freeways, and improve LOS in 57/60 Confluence from an “F” to a “C” and better
