San Gabriel Valley:
SB 1 Funded Regional Projects
On April 6, 2017, the California State Legislature passed the Road Repair and Accountability Act, (SB1). The bill levied a 12¢ per gallon tax on gasoline and a 20¢ per gallon tax on diesel fuel. It also raised annual vehicle registration fees by $25 to $175, depending on vehicle value.
SB 1 invests $5.4 billion annually over the next decade to fix California’s transportation system. It will address a backlog of repairs and upgrades.
Below are San Gabriel Valley Projects that have been funded by SB 1 dollars.
