Economic Development Committee
The SGVCOG Economic Development Committee studies problems, programs, and other matters which pertain to the regional issues of economic development and provides policy direction in these areas to the Governing Board.
Membership on the Economic Development Committee is open to Governing Board Delegates, Governing Board Alternates, City Managers or City staff. Members are appointed annually to the Economic Develoment Committee, for each fiscal year. No member agency may have more than one Committee Member on the Economic Development Committee. However, all Economic Development Committee Members may designate an alterate to act on their behalf at any Committee meeeting. Each Alternate Member so designated may vote on behalf of the Committee Member the Alternate Member represents.
A quorum of the Economic Development Committee is 40% of its membership. A quorum of the membership must be present to take action on any items. All meetings of the Housing Committee shall be held in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code Section 54950 et seq.).

The Economic Development Committee is supported by a Economic Development Technical Advisory Committee, which provides technical support.
Regular meetings of the Economic Development Committee are held the
fourth Monday of each month at
12:00 noon at the Monrovia Community Center (119 W. Palm Ave; Monrovia, CA).
