The San Gabriel Valley is a geographic area of approximately 374 square miles that serves as the eastern gateway to Los Angeles and Southern California. The San Gabriel Valley is home to more than 2 million California residents living in 31 incorporated cities and many unincorporated communities.
The San Gabriel Valley, founded in 1704, is the birthplace of Southern California. It is our goal at the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments to honor the past while we build for a better tomorrow.

Meeting agends are physically posted in advance at Alhambra City Hall located at 111 South 1st Street, Alhambra, CA 91801, at the office of the San Gabriel Vallley Council of Governments located at 1000 S Fremont Avenue, Building A-10, Suite 10210, Alhambra, CA 91803, and at the City Hall in the city where the meeting will be conducted.
All meeting dates are subject to change. Please check the meeting agenda or call the SGVCOG office to confirm dates and times of meetings. Additional meetings may be scheduled as necessary.
NPDES MS-4 Permit Meeting - Follow-Up
On April 17, 2013, the SGVCOG hosted a meeting with the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board to discuss the new NPDES MS4 Permit and its requirements. The presentation that was given at the meeting can be found here.
The SGVCOG will continue to explore this issue and will be discussing next steps at its May Governing Board meeting on May 30th. If you are interested in participating in future discussions, please contact (626) 457-1800 or csims@sgvcog.org.

It is against the law to throw household batteries and fluorescent lamps in the trash or recycling bin. To properly dispose of these hazardous items, look for lamp and battery take-back centers at local businesses throughout San Gabriel Valley.
